Marina Barrage

Zero Energy Building - BCA Academy

In this gallery, you will experience an interactive journey of Singapore's building development through the years and gain insights into BCA’s integral role in shaping a safe, sustainable, high-quality and friendly built environment now and for the future.

The BCA Gallery is a showcase of the development of Singapore’s building environment. The four key pillars, safety, quality, sustainability and friendly (environment), are highlighted collectively in this multi-sensory treat of interactive exhibits, model showcases and pull-out panels.

Prefabricated Technology Centre

The HDB Prefabrication Technology Centre (PTC) was set up in 1994 to spearhead the use of prefabrication technology in Singapore. PTC's main activities are to design, develop and produce prefabricated building products; conduct research and development of advanced and innovative construction materials and systems; manage and supply prefabricated building products; conduct training and license its intellectual property rights. It has developed a superior brand that is well known in the region.

Tampines Grande & Tampines Concourse

Tampines Grande is a cutting-edge and new generation green office. The building has achieved an Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) of 122 kWh/m2/year (compared to the norm of 200 kWh/m2/year for buildings) and moving forward, is expected to achieve a minimum energy-efficiency of 30% higher than that of a standard commercial office building.

11 Tampines Concourse - the first CarbonNeutral® development in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific. The three-storey office building has an energy-efficient design and eco-friendly fittings that will yield energy savings of 620,000 kWh, or at least $120,000, a year.
